2 FREE Directors entrance pass with registration
**NO MORE than 3 Directors/Teachers allowed backstage at one time and Directors/Teachers must stay with their own team while backstage or in warm-up area.
EXTRA Directors or Teachers Entrance Passes are $15.
RULES for all Team and/or Ensemble Entries….
TIME LIMITS:
There are no formal time limits, however, we ask that routines stay under 5 min to keep schedule flow, production and large group ensemble pieces may extend the performance time.
MUSIC: Music must be sent via the link to boogy entertainment!!!
** Always bring back-up to the sound table!!
SHOES: Any dance shoe that is appropriate for the style of dance in which your team is performing may be worn. Shoes MUST NOT mark up or damage the floor!! A fine/fee will be assessed to the group for any damage or extra work incurred in order to clean the floor surface due to improper shoes being worn.
PROPS and SCENERY/SETS: ALL props and Scenery/Sets MUST be covered with protective material (rubber, carpet, padding, etc…) to prevent any scuffs or damage to the performance floor(s). Any prop/scenery/sets without proper coverage will not be allowed onto the floor!! No Props/Scenery/Sets are allowed onto the floor without being WCD staff approved.
Props/Scenery/Sets must be carried on and off the floor quickly and cannot disrupt the flow of the competition. All those individuals involved with carrying props/scenery/sets on and off the floor MUST have a Spectator wristband on (paid at the front ticket booth).
SPORTSMANSHIP: All Teams and Performing groups should display good sportsmanship at any and all WORLD CLASS DANCE events. WCD staff has the right to refuse entry/performance to any team/group or spectator due to poor sportsmanlike conduct or disruptive behavior to the positive atmosphere and integrity of the event(s).
NOTE: WCD reserves the right to combine dance categories that are similar in nature in order to provide a more competitive event for those studios entered. However, Age Divisions will remain separated regardless of the number of entries in each age division.
