How to Register:

  1. Click on the Registration Tab located on the drop-down menu.
  2. Follow Link For Registration form (you may need multiple forms for different classifications you wish to enter).
  3. Print off the Liability form.
  4. Have each dancer fill out Liability form
  5. Mail liability forms in with entry fees/participation fees check payable to:  WCD Nationals
  6. Mail to:  WCD Nationals -2220 east Lonsdale Drive 84121
  7. Credit Cards may be used via our payment tab.

Spectator Pass for Master’s Class available for:  $10/person

Coaches/Directors

1 FREE Coach/Director entrance pass included in registration. 

EXTRA Coaches/Directors Entrance Passes are $15.

**NO MORE than 4 Coaches/Directors allowed backstage at one time and Coaches/Directors must stay with their own team while backstage or in warm-up area.

RULES for all Team and/or Ensemble Entries

There are NO time limits for performances, but we do ask that pieces be no longer than 5 minutes to help keep our schedule manageable. 

MUSIC: Music must be burned on a high-quality CD-R … ONE routine per CD (NO CD’s with multiple tracks on it will be accepted).   An iPod/ipad may be used ONLY if you have a representative at the sound table … music played from an ipod/ipad will NOT be able to have speed adjusted.  ALL Music MUST be turned in to the Music Table 1 hour prior to performance time.  Every routine MUST have a representative at the sound table to make sure the music is cued up and ready to go at the appropriate time.

** Always bring a back-up CD to give to the sound table!!
** Please be mindful that your music should not contain inappropriate lyrics or offensive content.

 

SHOES: Shoes MUST NOT mark up or damage the floor!! A fine/fee will be assessed to the group for any damage or extra work incurred in order to clean the floor surface due to improper shoes being worn. NO TAP SHOES CURRENTLY ALLOWED.

PROPS and SCENERY/SETS: ALL props and Scenery/Sets MUST be covered with protective material (rubber, carpet, padding, etc…) to prevent any scuffs or damage to the performance floor(s). Any prop/scenery/sets without proper coverage will not be allowed onto the floor!! No Props/Scenery/Sets are allowed onto the floor without being WCD staff approved.
Props/Scenery/Sets must be carried on and off the floor quickly and cannot disrupt the flow of the competition. All those individuals involved with carrying props/scenery/sets on and off the floor MUST have a Spectator wristband on (paid at the front ticket booth).

SPORTSMANSHIP: All Teams and Performing groups should display good sportsmanship at any and all WORLD CLASS DANCE events. WCD staff has the right to refuse entry/performance to any team/group or spectator due to poor sportsmanlike conduct or disruptive behavior to the positive atmosphere and integrity of the event(s).

PERFORMANCE AREA: The performance area is 96’X50’ Routines must stay within the boundaries. Any damage to the floor will result in a fine to the team responsible.
